SSID - Forgot/Reset Password
Please follow these steps to reset your SSID password.
1. Open SSID System Login
2. Click "Forgot your Password"
3. Enter your username. (e. LEA#firstintiallastname)
You will see the following message: "Please check your email to reset your password."
4. Locate the email in your inbox.
The link is valid for 60 minutes. If it expires, users will need to select the "Forgot your password?" link again. If the link expires, it will still redirect to the Password Reset, but users will receive an error message.
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 lowercase letter
- At least 1 special character ( # $ ^ + = ! * ( ) @ % & )
The SSID user passwords now expires every 90 days.
You can use reset your password in the SSID Web Application or selecting the “Forgot your password?” on the sign in screen. If your email is correct in the SSID system, you will start receiving emails 10 days prior to your password expiring. This starts on day 80 and reminds the user for 10 days.
Note: If you do not reset it within that time your account will be locked. If your account is locked you will need to put a ticket into freshserivce to have it unlocked before you can reset your password. Go to https://apphelpdesk.schools.utah.gov to enter the ticket.
