MOVEit - Request a Password Change Link
Using the Request a password change link
Click on the “Request a password change link”
Here’s where they see the change password message. They enter their MOVEit userid in the field and click on the
“Request Password Change” button as instructed. An email message containing a link to the “Change Password” page in
MOVEit will be sent to the email address on file in their account.
The system will provide them this screen after clicking the “Request Password Change” button.
Next, they click the provided link in the email message they receive.
They are taken to this “Change Password” screen. The password requirements are provided for them.
Information can also be found by clicking on the “Online Manual” link at the logon page of MOVEit,
and going through the “Getting Started” section.
Note that the “Request a password change” link on MOVEit’s logon page will not respond if the individuals account has been locked out.
