The Assessment Application displays assessment results for statewide testing instances and customized testing.
Testing names and types vary and display for both school administration and for students /contact/guardians.
Schools Lens – school administration view
Most statewide testing results are imported into Aspire by the student SSID Number.
If no testing results show at the student level, the student did not take the test. There are no results for the student.
USBE Imported test results do not need test instances created. Only custom school tests need to be created and scores added.
Assessment results are always last year’s testing results. Scores are not available to import until then.

Reading Assessment
DIBELS –Dynamic Indicators of Basic Literacy Skills aka Reading on Grade Level
Reading Assessment provides a way to capture and maintain student reading interventions grades 1 through 3.
Reading Assessment lets 1st - 3rd grade teachers record state required reading at grade level and intervention information that is required by USBE. Checking the appropriate check boxes updates the student’s reading information. This information is tabulated for administrators in a separate report.

You have three testing sessions Fall, Mid-Year, and Spring. The only time the column to enter information will be open is when it is that testing session. Fall will be open first of the school year until November 30, Mid-Year will be open December 1 until March 4th and Spring will be open March 5th until end of school year. If you have not entered information and the window closes, contact your school’s or district’s SIS Administrator and they can set the permission to open a window in Control Master. In prior testing sessions you will see symbols, if you hover over them you will see what the meaning is.

Permissions must be given to the person or teachers entering this information.
