Aspire - Control Master - User Permissions Setup
Before users can login to Aspire, you will need to create a group in Control Master and assign the permissions.
Go to LEA lens - Control Master - Edit Groups
To create Contact Permissions
Select – Create New, if the group doesn't already exist
Title: Contacts
Description: Contacts
Select Create -
Select - Default Group For – Select Contacts and Save
After you have created the account, go through all of the permissions and select the other ones that you would like them to have.
Be sure to only give contacts limited permissions.
Select – Academic Progress – Reports - Contacts
Attendance Permissions - Contacts – Report permissions only -
Change Password - Contacts
Enrollment - Contacts – Report permissions only -
Gradebook - Contacts – Report permissions only -
Lockers – Contacts - If you use lockers - Optional
Scheduling – Contacts - If you are going to allow contacts and students to schedule online. This is only given when schools are ready for scheduling.

Usually, a school doesn't want contacts changing this information - only allow the office to change it on request from parent/contacts.
To create Counselor Permissions
Depending on your personnel – some schools have a registrar who does the student scheduling and a counselor who only does scheduling and counseling.
Select – Create New, if the group doesn't already exist
