26 STEPS
1. The first step is to open Support : Utah State Board of Education Customer Portal.
Click Create Account / Login
2. A user has 3 options when creating their account, utilize a Microsoft ,Google account ,or create your own login and password.
For training purposes, we will click Sign in with Google
3. Click the account you want to login with.
4. Click Search for solutions, services and tickets. This will allow you to search using a key word or phrase.
5. The system will return results based on the word or phrase used. It is divided into 3 areas, solutions, service items and tickets.
6. To make a selection, simply Click on the item you would like to open.
7. Complete the required fields on the form. Required fields are notated by a red asterisk.
8. Click Place Request once you have completed the form.
9. A new screen will pop up allowing you to copy another user on all communication regarding the ticket.
Click Add CC
10. You can enter a ticket on behalf of someone else.
Click Request for someone else
11. Then Click Confirm to submit your ticket to the Utah State Board of Education Service Desk.
12. The system will then show you the details of your ticket. You are able to submit a reply by clicking inside Your Reply and then Click Send
13. This area is where you will find any communication that you or a technician have entered
14. Click Tickets
To view all your open and closed tickets.
15. To view a menu of all available articles and videos.
Click Browse solution library
16. Click LEA External Users
17. Here you can pick from any number of solutions.
18. If something is broken.
Click Report a problem
19. Fill in all the required fields. Remember to include any details and or screenshots that will allow the USBE support technician to serve you better.
20. Click Attach a file to add any documents or screenshots. Screenshots can also be added directly into the Description area.
21. Click Submit
22. If you need something, such as to request a new account, a password reset or another service item.
Click Request a service
23. You will be able to view all service items or you can Click on a category to reduce the selection.
24. Click on the hamburger to move around the system. The options on the left will appear.
25. You are also able to view tickets that are the most current from the home page or Click View all to get to all your open and closed tickets.
26. Here you can view any current announcements that have been posted, such as outages.
